Throughout the year there are many local events, exhibitions and different things to do and see. Check out our event schedule for dates. We have massive open spaces, a wide range of wildlife like curlew, salmon, red squirrel, deer, pheasant, and black grouse. We have big skies, dramatic views, fresh air, clear water, meadow flowers and fauna.

Within striking distance of the Allen Valleys there are a host of famous venues, including Durham Cathedral, The Lakes, Hadrian's Wall, the magnificent Northumberland coast, and Alnwick Castle.
