North Pennines Astronomical Society

The North Pennines Astronomical Society’s would like to invite everyone who has an interest in the night sky to their very first AGM. There is also an invitation to bring your telescopes and other observing equipment – even if you have never used them before. We will have a few astronomers on hand for Q&A and practical hands on session after the short business meeting has concluded, so it’ll be a great chance to get to know your equipmentThe Pleiades (c) Andy Gray better, even if the skies aren’t clear. That night will also be a good night to view the moon.

Please invite or bring along anyone who you think may be interested. Parking will be in Allenheads village, with a short 10 minute walk up the hill to the Old School House and Observatory. However we can arrange for you to drop equipment drop-off up at the Old School House and there are two disabled parking spaces.

If you have any questions or would like more information please contact Maya Horton

See you all there!
